Stranger Creek near Tonganoxie affecting Leavenworth County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Stranger Creek near Tonganoxie. * WHEN...From late tonight to late Wednesday night. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Low-lying farmland along the creek floods. At 25.0 feet, County Highway 6 floods about 3 miles east of Tonganoxie. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 14.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 23.1 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 23.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
