Red Flag Warning issued June 9 at 1:12PM PDT until June 11 at 9:00AM PDT by NWS Eureka CA * AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zone 419.Fire weather zone 420. * WIND...North to northeast winds will increase overnight to15 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph on the ridges. * HUMIDITY...Recoveries on the ridges are only expected to be around 20 to 40 percent Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
