For ALPINE AREAS ABOVE 1900 METRES: DAMAGING WINDS winds averaging 80 to 90 km/h with peak gusts up to 110 km/h are possible about higher parts of the Snowy Mountains for brief periods this evening. Winds are forecast to ease during the late evening. Locations which may be affected include Thredbo Top Station.
