The combination of high humidity and excessive heat (expected maximum temperatures between 35 and 40 degrees Celsius) causes an extreme high heat index of 9-10. This could cause dangerous heat stress on the human body, particularly during physical exercise, even within otherwise healthy people. BE PREPARED that high temperatures will lead to health risks amongst vulnerable people e.g. the elderly and very young. Listen to and act upon advice from the authorities.
