Flood Warning issued June 8 at 12:16AM CDT until June 8 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Huntsville AL * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...Portions of Alabama, including the following counties, Jackson and Madison and southern middle Tennessee, including the following county, Lincoln. * WHEN...Until 700 AM CDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1215 AM CDT, Emergency management reported flooding in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 4 and 8 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Northern Huntsville, Scottsboro, Moores Mill, Meridianville, Hazel Green, Stevenson, Hollywood, Skyline, Gurley, Section, Woodville, Pisgah, New Market, Alabama A And M University, Harvest, Lincoln, Pleasant Groves, Hytop, Dutton and Paint Rock. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
