Poinsett County in eastern Arkansas... * Until 130 PM CDT. * At 956 AM CDT, the public reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Trumann. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen with additional heavy rainfall expected. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Public reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Jonesboro, Blytheville, Osceola, Trumann, Gosnell, Manila, Marked Tree, Harrisburg, Bono, Lake City, Leachville, Lepanto, Bay, Brookland, Monette, Caraway, Tyronza, Keiser, Weiner and Joiner. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
