Southwestern Scott County in western Arkansas... * Until 1030 PM CDT. * At 732 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area that continue to train over the same locations. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen across parts of the warned area. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Waldron... Cardiff... Union Hill... Needmore... Olio... Winfield... Boles... Carolan... Parks... If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
