Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Rip Current Statement issued May 18 at 12:00PM EDT until May 20 at 4:00AM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL * WHAT...Dangerous rip currents. * WHERE...Walton, Bay, Gulf, and Franklin County Beaches. * WHEN...Through late Sunday night. * IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
