HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. * Locations impacted include... Marker 24 Barge. Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

For the Heat Advisory on Tuesday, heat index values up to 111 expected. * WHERE...In the Florida Big Bend Jefferson, Wakulla, Gadsden, Leon, Holmes, Jackson, and North Walton Counties. * WHEN...For the first Heat Advisory, until 8 PM EDT /7 PM CDT/ this evening. For the second Heat Advisory, from 11 AM EDT /10 AM CDT/ to 8 PM EDT /7 PM CDT/ Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sunshine, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. When possible reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening.Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing when possible. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments. Movement was south at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Tallahassee, Woodville, St. Marks, Crawfordville, Wakulla, Sopchoppy, Newport, Cody, Shadeville, Jewel Fire Tower, Leon Sinks, Lake Munson, Wakulla Springs, Eight Mile Pond, Smith Creek, Medart, Buckhorn, Bethel, Tallahassee Regional A/P, and Natural Bridge. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
