Flood Warning issued June 5 at 1:26PM EDT until June 5 at 3:30PM EDT by NWS Key West FL * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Key West and Stock Island. * WHEN...Until 330 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Some roads remain closed, such as the 500 block of Angela St., due to flooding. Additional road closures are possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 125 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing in the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Key West, Boca Chica, Fleming Key and Key Haven. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway.
