Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued July 12 at 2:52PM EDT until July 12 at 9:00PM EDT by NWS Charleston SC THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 486 IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM EDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN GEORGIA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 2 COUNTIES IN SOUTHEAST GEORGIA JENKINS SCREVEN IN SOUTH CAROLINA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 2 COUNTIES IN SOUTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA ALLENDALE HAMPTON THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ALLENDALE, ESTILL, FAIRFAX, HAMPTON, MILLEN, SYCAMORE, SYLVANIA, VARNVILLE, AND YEMASSEE.

Special Weather Statement issued July 12 at 6:51PM EDT by NWS Charleston SC At 651 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from over Martin to near Rocky Ford, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Allendale, Millen, Sylvania, Fairfax, Brunson, Hiltonia, Sycamore, Rocky Ford, Ulmer and Hilltonia.
