Flood Watch issued June 18 at 4:01PM EDT until June 20 at 2:00AM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of southeast Alabama, southwest Georgia, and the Florida Panhandle. * WHEN...Through late Friday night. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are expected from today through Friday. Rainfall amounts of 3 to 6 inches are expected with locally higher amounts likely. Reasonable high- end totals of 7 to 10 inches are possible. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Tifton, Moultrie, Ashburn, Ocilla, Fitzgerald, Sylvester, Omega, Norman Park, Poulan, Doerun, Ty Ty, Phillipsburg, Mystic, Unionville, Riverside, Worth, Terrell, Schley, Sycamore, and Funston. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
