Flood Advisory issued June 10 at 1:00AM EDT until June 10 at 6:00AM EDT by NWS Indianapolis IN * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northeastern Bartholomew County in central Indiana... Decatur County in central Indiana... Southern Shelby County in central Indiana... * WHEN...Until 600 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 100 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Columbus, Greensburg, Adams, Edinburgh, Hope, Flat Rock, Milford, Westport, Geneva, St. Paul, Hartsville, Clifford, Millhousen, Burney, Letts, Newbern, Sandusky, Marietta, Newpoint and Clarksburg. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
