Flood Watch issued June 25 at 3:16PM CDT until June 26 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Wichita KS * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of central, east central, south central, and southeast Kansas, including the following counties, in central Kansas, Barton, Ellsworth, Lincoln, Marion, McPherson, Rice, Russell and Saline. In east central Kansas, Chase. In south central Kansas, Butler, Cowley, Harper, Harvey, Kingman, Reno, Sedgwick and Sumner. In southeast Kansas, Allen, Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood, Labette, Montgomery, Neosho, Wilson and Woodson. * WHEN...Through Friday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional storms are expected to develop over southern Kansas late this afternoon and evening. These storms will produce high rainfall rates that may lead to flooding. Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Tornado Watch issued June 25 at 3:04PM CDT until June 25 at 10:00PM CDT by NWS Wichita KS THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED TORNADO WATCH 392 IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN KANSAS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 3 COUNTIES IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS HARPER KINGMAN SUMNER THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ANTHONY, ATTICA, HARPER, KINGMAN, AND WELLINGTON.
