In addition...Access to Shady Bend Golf Course via the club house will be cut off. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 12.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet. - Forecast...No forecast is available for this location. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.2 feet on 04/22/1952. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Northwestern Mitchell County in north central Kansas... Osborne County in north central Kansas... Southeastern Smith County in north central Kansas... * WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads have been closed and barricaded due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1019 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms has resulted in widespread flooding. Flooding is ongoing on Highway 24 between Osborne and Downs and numerous roads have been barricaded due to flooding. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have already fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
