Flood Watch issued June 12 at 11:32AM CDT until June 14 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Wichita KS * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Kansas, including the following counties, Allen, Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood, Labette, Montgomery, Neosho, Wilson and Woodson. * WHEN...From late tonight through Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain are forecast to impact the area from late tonight through Saturday night. There is a potential for widespread 2 to 4 inches of rain with locally higher amounts possible. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
