Flood Advisory issued May 22 at 8:31PM EDT until May 22 at 10:15PM EDT by NWS Jackson KY * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of south central Kentucky, including the following county, Wayne. * WHEN...Until 1015 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 831 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.3 inches are expected over the area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Monticello, Steubenville, Mill Springs, Parnell, Betsey, Frazer, Cabell and Delta. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
