For the Green River...including Paradise...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Green River at Paradise. * WHEN...From this evening until further notice. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 379.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening and continue rising to a crest of 382.4 feet early Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 380.0 feet. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Flood Watch issued May 25 at 1:38PM CDT until May 27 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Paducah KY * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...The entire Quad State region. * WHEN...From 1 AM CDT /2 AM EDT/ Sunday through Monday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Strong to severe thunderstorms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall in multiple rounds of expected storm activity. Any such storm may bring flooding rains, especially if they repeat over the same areas. This threat will be heightened for some of our localities that have seen such localized heavy rainfall over the past few days, where their threshold for flooding will be more sensitive. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
