Dense Fog Advisory issued July 7 at 5:20AM EDT until July 7 at 9:00AM EDT by NWS Jackson KY * WHAT...Visibility one quarter mile or less in areas of dense fog through the morning commute. * WHERE...Portions of east central, northeast, south central, and southeast Kentucky. * WHEN...Until 9 AM EDT this morning. * IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

Special Weather Statement issued July 7 at 1:00AM EDT by NWS Jackson KY Partly cloudy skies, light winds, and plenty of low-level moisture from recent rains are helping areas of fog to develop and become dense early this morning. This fog will likely continue to expand through the night and probably be thickest in the valleys. Visibilities will be below a quarter of a mile at times in the densest of the fog. Be sure to slow down and use your low beam headlights whenever you encounter fog.
