Green River at Rochester affecting Ohio, Muhlenberg and Butler Counties. .Heavy rain from the past weekend have caused the river to rise. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Green River at Rochester. * WHEN...Until late Saturday evening. * IMPACTS...At 34.0 feet, Rochester Ferry stops operation. At 37.0 feet, Reeds and Rochester Ferries remain closed. KY 369 floods one mile north of Rochester. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:45 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 39.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 34.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 4:45 AM CDT Tuesday was 39.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 41.2 feet tomorrow evening.
