Flash Flood Warning issued July 22 at 12:16AM EDT until July 22 at 2:45AM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ At 1216 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in Easton. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas. Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Easton, Talbot, Milford, Denton, Harrington, Lewes, Milton, Bridgeville, Ridgely, St. Michaels, Preston and Oxford. Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
