In southwest Missouri, Barton, Cedar, Dade, Jasper and Polk. * WHEN...Until 300 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 908 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following low water crossings... Sons Creek at County Road 113, Weaubleau Creek at Highway V, Muddy Creek at Highway 126, Deer Creek at Highway YY, East Fork Dry Wood Creek at NW 110th Lane, Ingalls Creek at Highway HH and Bear Creek at 60th Road. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Another round of showers and thunderstorms expected tonight.
