Flash Flood Warning issued June 11 at 6:01PM CDT until June 11 at 7:45PM CDT by NWS St Louis MO At 601 PM CDT, Flash flooding continues as a result of the recent heavy rainfall. Law enforcement reported Highway 15 near Bethel was flooded in spots. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Shelbina, Clarence, Shelbyville, Emden, Bethel and Leonard. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
