Flood Watch issued June 8 at 1:49PM CDT until June 9 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Paducah KY * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Missouri, including the following areas, Bollinger, Butler, Cape Girardeau, Carter, Mississippi, New Madrid, Ripley, Scott, Stoddard and Wayne MO. * WHEN...From 7 PM CDT this evening through Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Campers near streams and rivers in the Ozark Foothills should exercise extreme caution. Be vigilant for rapid rises in water levels and prepare to move to higher ground quickly if flooding occurs. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of heavy rain are expected over the Flood Watch area this evening through Sunday morning.
