For the Leaf River...including McLain, New Augusta...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Leaf near McLain. * WHEN...Until late Friday night. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Some county roads in the area will become flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 24.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late Friday evening and continue falling to 16.2 feet Saturday evening. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
