Flood Warning issued July 21 at 7:56PM EDT until July 22 at 2:00AM EDT by NWS Charleston WV * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Morgan County in southeastern Ohio... Perry County in southeastern Ohio... Northwestern Washington County in southeastern Ohio... * WHEN...Until 200 AM EDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 755 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen from earlier storms this afternoon. Continued runoff will lead to strong rises on the larger creeks in the area this evening. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... New Lexington, McConnelsville, Somerset, Beverly, Perry State Forest, Crooksville, Junction City, Malta, Corning, Lowell, Stockport, and Eagleport. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
