Extreme Heat Warning issued July 3 at 5:47PM EDT until July 4 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS State College PA * WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 106 expected. * WHERE...Adams, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, and York Counties. * WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heat and humidity are now expected to continue to make dangerous conditions all the way through Saturday evening. Drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun, and stay in an air-conditioned room. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
