Special Weather Statement issued July 7 at 4:45PM EDT by NWS Charleston SC At 445 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Goose Creek, moving east at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... North Charleston, Goose Creek, Hanahan, Naval Weapons Station Charleston, Ladson, Crowfield Plantation, Cote Bas Landing, Cypress Gardens, Bushy Park and Woodland Landing.
