Buffalo River Near Lobelville affecting Perry County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Buffalo River near Lobelville. * WHEN...From this afternoon to just after midnight tonight. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Flooding begins along the river, impacting agricultural land and adjacent properties including Dailey Loop, Caruthers Trace Lane, Lost Creek Rd near Gilmer Bridge Rd, and portions of the Buffalo River Country Club. Water reaches Old State Hwy 13 south of School House Rd and is impassable, and approaches Gilmer Bridge Rd Lost Creek Rd. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 14.1 feet and falling. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:30 PM CDT Wednesday was 14.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this afternoon and continue falling to 4.8 feet early Monday afternoon. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
