Heat Advisory issued July 22 at 11:08PM CDT until July 23 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Corpus Christi TX * WHAT...Heat index values up to 113 expected. * WHERE...Bee, Coastal Aransas, Coastal Calhoun, Coastal Refugio, Coastal San Patricio, Goliad, Inland Calhoun, Inland Refugio, Inland San Patricio, La Salle, Live Oak, McMullen, Victoria, and Webb Counties. * WHEN...From 1 PM to 7 PM CDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
