Flash Flood Warning issued June 7 at 1:10AM CDT until June 7 at 2:30AM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX At 110 AM CDT, Thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the warned area earlier tonight and brought up to 3.5 inches of rain to the area. While a lull in the rainfall is present now, additional heavy rain is expected to move into the area and bring additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Meridian, Blum, Iredell, Lake Whitney, Meridian State Park, Rio Vista, Walnut Springs, Morgan, Retreat, Cedar Shores, Eulogy, Kopperl, Lakeside Village and Brazos Point. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

Flood Watch issued June 6 at 7:47PM CDT until June 7 at 4:00PM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of north central Texas, including the following counties, Bosque, Hamilton, Hill and Mills. * WHEN...Through Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Widespread rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected with localized rainfall totals as high as 6 to 8 inches possible.
