Flood Advisory issued June 14 at 6:31PM CDT until June 14 at 8:30PM CDT by NWS San Angelo TX * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Brown, Coleman, Concho, McCulloch, Runnels and San Saba. * WHEN...Until 830 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 631 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Brownwood, Coleman, Ballinger, Early, Santa Anna, Bangs, Blanket, Trickham, Rockwood, Gouldbusk, Voss, Valera, Brookesmith, Winchell, Lake Brownwood, Lake Brownwood Near Thrifty, Leaday, Elm Grove, Lake Brownwood State Park and Camp Bowie. - This includes the following Low Water Crossings... Good Shephard at 11th, Austin Street at Avenue G, Belle Plain at Romines, Cordell at Anderson, Gifford at Beaver, Indian Creek at 9th, Magnolia at Belmeade, 4th Street at Wood, Willis at Belmeade and Austin Street at Avenue J. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
