Flood Watch issued May 1 at 9:50PM CDT until May 2 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following counties, Bandera, Bastrop, Bexar, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Comal, De Witt, Fayette, Gillespie, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Hays, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Lavaca, Lee, Llano, Travis, Williamson and Wilson. * WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Periods of scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will bring the possibility of heavy rainfall to the watch area. Isolated amounts in excess of 2 to 4 inches have already fallen in some locations and additional isolated amounts of 2 to 4 inches could be possible overnight. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued May 1 at 7:47PM CDT until May 2 at 2:00AM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 173 IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM CDT THURSDAY FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN TEXAS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 13 COUNTIES IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS BASTROP BLANCO BURNET CALDWELL COMAL FAYETTE GILLESPIE HAYS KENDALL LEE LLANO TRAVIS WILLIAMSON THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF AUSTIN, BASTROP, BLANCO, BOERNE, BURNET, FREDERICKSBURG, GEORGETOWN, GIDDINGS, LA GRANGE, LLANO, LOCKHART, NEW BRAUNFELS, AND SAN MARCOS.
