San Saba River At San Saba affecting San Saba County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...San Saba River at San Saba. * WHEN...Until this evening. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding will occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 24.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 AM CDT Sunday was 26.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage this morning and continue falling to 3.5 feet Friday morning. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 24.4 feet on 04/17/1977. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
