Flood Advisory issued May 31 at 8:05PM CDT until May 31 at 11:15PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following counties, Blanco, Burnet and Llano. * WHEN...Until 1115 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 805 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Marble Falls, Kingsland, Round Mountain, Buchanan Dam, Granite Shoals, Horseshoe Bay, Meadowlakes, Highland Haven, Longhorn Cavern State Park, Inks Lake State Park, Cottonwood Shores and Sunrise Beach Village. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
