For the Caney Creek...including Splendora...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Peach Creek at Splendora. * WHEN...From this evening to tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding continues as a residential yard on the upstream left bank begins to take on water and Goodson Road beginsto take on water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 15.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 PM CDT Friday was 16.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow morning and continue falling to 6.6 feet Wednesday evening. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.7 feet on 02/26/2018. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
