Movement was southeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Roanoke... Blacksburg... Salem... Christiansburg... Vinton... Buchanan... and Troutville. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until noon EDT for central, south central, southwestern and west central Virginia...and southeastern West Virginia.
