Special Weather Statement issued July 27 at 4:50AM EDT by NWS Blacksburg VA Patchy dense fog is occurring across portions of the area, reducing the visibility to under one-quarter of a mile in some locations. The fog is expected to gradually improve after sunrise. Until then, expect rapid changes in visibility as you travel, and use low beam headlights.
