Special Weather Statement issued June 9 at 5:09AM CDT by NWS Quad Cities IA IL Patchy dense fog has developed early this morning across portions of eastern Iowa, mainly north of Highway 30, reducing visibility to a quarter mile. The patchy dense fog will continue for the next couple of hours before improving by 8 AM. If traveling early this morning, be prepared for rapid changes in visibility over short distances. When encountering dense fog, slow down and use low-beam headlights.
