Tornado Warning issued July 20 at 4:40PM CDT until July 20 at 5:15PM CDT by NWS Des Moines IA At 440 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located over Kamrar, or near Webster City, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Damaging tornado and two inch hail. SOURCE...Law enforcement receiving multiple reports of a tornado on the ground near Webster City. Emergency management also reporting golf ball sized hail near Highway 20 in Hamilton County. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This tornado will be near... Kamrar around 445 PM CDT. Jewell Junction around 450 PM CDT. Ellsworth around 455 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Ellsworth, Kamrar, and Randall. This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 129 and 141. To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.

Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Webster City, Jewell Junction, Radcliffe, Ellsworth, Blairsburg, Kamrar, Randall, and Buckeye. This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 129 and 144.
