Little Sioux River at Spencer affecting Clay County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Sioux River at Cherokee. * WHEN...Until early Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, minor lowland flooding begins, and Cherokee County Rescue mobilizes and sets up the flood control center. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 17.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 AM CDT Sunday was 17.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.5 feet this afternoon.
