At 14.5 feet, 190th St just west of Reed Ave is impassible. The road is covered by over 300 yards of water. Water is over much of the bridge. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 7.6 feet. - Forecast...Flood stage may be reached early Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 12.5 feet. - The river forecasts are conditional and dependent on the forecast rainfall across the river basins through Sunday morning. Flood Watch issued June 21 at 6:49PM CDT until June 22 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Des Moines IA A moderate risk of heavy rainfall and flash flooding is forecast over northern Iowa through the overnight. Storms will be increasing in coverage this evening, with the heaviest rainfall expected later this evening to early Saturday morning. Some uncertainty remains as to the exact axis of heaviest rainfall, but current indications are that the heaviest rainfall in north central Iowa will be generally between Highway 20 and the Iowa Minnesota border. If you live in or near the watch, please monitor the weather closely this evening and tonight. Review flooding safety plans now and be prepared if you must take action. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of central, north central, northeast, northwest, and west central Iowa, including the following counties, in central Iowa, Grundy, Hamilton, Hardin and Webster. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Expected rainfall totals may reach 3 to 7 inches in some areas with locally higher amounts are possible.
