The possibility does exist that storms may repeat over the same areas and produce excessive rainfall. Rainfall rates may approach 2 inches per hour. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of northwest Illinois, including the following counties, Jo Daviess and Stephenson and Iowa, including the following counties, Benton, Buchanan, Delaware, Dubuque, Jackson, Jones and Linn. * WHEN...From midnight CDT tonight through Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms will develop in the tropical atmosphere after midnight and slowly move across the area. The possibility exists that storms may repeat over the same areas producing excessive rainfall. Rainfall rates may approach 2 inches per hour.
