Special Weather Statement issued June 18 at 8:49PM CDT by NWS Des Moines IA A large area of storms will through central Iowa late this evening. Many storms will produce wind gusts to near 50 mph and periods of heavy rainfall. A few stronger storms may produce isolated wind gusts over 50 mph as well.
