This exceeds the flood of record. * WHERE...The West Fork Des Moines River at Estherville, or from the Iowa-Minnesota border to near Wallingford. * WHEN...Until further notice. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 18.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.1 feet this evening. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest exceeds a previous crest of 17.7 feet on 04/12/1969.
