Raccoon River at Des Moines Fleur Dr affecting Polk County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...The Des Moines River at Fort Dodge, or from the municipal power dam...to Lehigh. * WHEN...Until Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Water affects campgrounds in the downstream parks between Fort Dodge and Lehigh. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 10.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.6 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 10.5 feet. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
