The greatest risk is between Iowa Highway 92 and Iowa Highway 2, centered on U.S. Highway 34. Flash flooding is possible outside that band especially in urban areas. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of central, south central, and southeast Iowa, including the following counties, in central Iowa, Jasper and Poweshiek. In south central Iowa, Appanoose, Clarke, Decatur, Lucas, Mahaska, Marion, Monroe, Ringgold, Warren and Wayne.
