Mississippi River at Gladstone LD18 affecting Henderson and Des Moines Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Burlington. * WHEN...Until further notice. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 15.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 15.1 feet Saturday, June 15. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
