HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Interstate 29 between mile markers 45 and 50, and between mile markers 54 and 56. Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 3 and 17, and between mile markers 34 and 37. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Flood Watch issued June 5 at 8:17PM CDT until June 6 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Omaha/Valley NE * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of southwest Iowa, including the following counties, Fremont, Mills, Montgomery, Page and Pottawattamie and Nebraska, including the following counties, Butler, Cass, Douglas, Gage, Johnson, Lancaster, Nemaha, Otoe, Pawnee, Richardson, Sarpy, Saunders and Seward. * WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A band of heavy rain is expected to develop late this evening and linger into early Saturday morning.
