Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 30 at 12:29AM CDT until June 30 at 12:45AM CDT by NWS Omaha/Valley NE At 1229 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 3 miles northeast of Hadar to 2 miles west of Hoskins to 3 miles east of Norfolk to 5 miles north of Madison, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Public. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Norfolk. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. These are dangerous storms, producing large hail driven by severe winds! SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy structure and stay away from windows! If you are caught outdoors, cover your head and neck. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

THE NEW WATCH IS VALID FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN NEBRASKA THE NEW WATCH INCLUDES 10 COUNTIES IN NORTHEAST NEBRASKA ANTELOPE BOONE CEDAR CUMING MADISON PIERCE PLATTE STANTON THURSTON WAYNE THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ALBION, COLERIDGE, COLUMBUS, ELGIN, HARTINGTON, LAUREL, MACY, NELIGH, NORFOLK, OSMOND, PENDER, PIERCE, PLAINVIEW, RANDOLPH, ST. EDWARD, STANTON, WALTHILL, WAYNE, WEST POINT, WINNEBAGO, AND WISNER.
